About the estate
The Colombo Sormani agricultural enterprise was founded in 2019 by Lorenzo and Andrea in Chiuro in the heart of Valtellina. The estate currently comprises about one and a half hectares of terraced vineyards located in the municipalities of Sondrio, Castione Andevenno, Ponte in Valtellina, and Teglio. All vineyards are hand-farmed and cultivated according to organic farming rules. During vinification, fermentations occur spontaneously with indigenous yeasts without the addition of corrective products, filtration, or clarification. The portfolio includes wines from the Rosso di Valtellina DOC and Valtellina Superiore DOCG denominations.
