About the estate

The Christoph Hoch estate based in Hollenburg cultivates its own vineyards biodynamically according to Demeter guidelines. The vineyards are shaped by the lime-rich soils of the Hollenburg conglomerate, which impart a pronounced minerality to the wines. Vinification takes place through spontaneous fermentation in used wooden barrels without any additives across two different cellars. The portfolio includes clearly structured, delicate still wines as well as naturally fermented sparkling wines. For distribution, the winery cooperates with Toa GmbH.
