About the estate
The Château Paillas estate is located in Floressas in southwest France and was founded in 1978 by Matthieu Lescombes, who acquired a traditional farmhouse and wasteland at the lieu-dit Paillas. Today, the winery is managed by his descendants in the family tradition, cultivating a vineyard area of 27 hectares. The vineyards are situated on the limestone Causse plateau and are primarily planted with Malbec, Merlot, and Tannat grape varieties. The viticulture and vinification focus on reflecting the character of the regional terroir, with all wines exclusively aged in modern stainless steel vats. The produced wines fall under the AOC Cahors and Côtes du Lot IGP denominations.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Malbec and Merlot.
