About the estate

Situated in Plassac in the Gironde region, the Château Mondésir Gazin estate covers thirteen hectares of vineyards planted on well-exposed clay-limestone slopes. While the history of viticulture at the location dates back to Roman times, the current owners took over the property in 2022. The estate is organically certified and produces red and white wines across the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux and Côtes de Bourg appellations. The red wines are primarily shaped by Merlot and Malbec, whereas the white wines rely on Sauvignon and Sémillon. Vineyard and winemaking operations are supported by the Derenoncourt consulting firm.
