About the estate
The Château Morillon estate is located north of Bordeaux in the municipality of Campugnan near the Gironde estuary and features an 18th-century chartreuse that was acquired and restored in the early 2000s. The grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec are cultivated on a vineyard area of nearly 20 hectares. Since the acquisition in the year 2004, the estate has been farmed organically, achieving official organic certification in 2007 following a conversion period. Distribution is carried out through the specialized network of organic shops.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Malbec and Merlot. The estate sells to retail.
