Chateau Gigault

About the estate

The Chateau Gigault estate manages approximately 15 hectares of vineyards located in the municipalities of Mazion and Saint Genès de Blaye within the AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux denomination. The history of the property is closely linked to owner Christophe Reboul Salze and a collaboration with consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt that began with their first vintage in 1998. Vineyard management avoids chemical fertilizers and weed killers in order to produce authentic and well-balanced wine styles. Vinification involves a combination of concrete vats and oak barrels, resulting in classic Bordeaux wines suited for aging.
