About the estate

The Château Bel-Air La Royère is an organic wine estate located in Cars on the right bank of the Gironde north of Bordeaux within the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Established in 1992, the property cultivates 14 hectares of vineyards to produce elegant and expressive red, white, and rosé wines. The vineyard soils consist of clay-limestone and sand-gravel, contributing freshness and structure to the wines. Under the direction of Corinne Chevrier, the estate farms organically and utilizes distinctive aging methods in amphorae and old cognac barrels. The winery welcomes visitors year-round for tours, tastings, and blending workshops in the cellars and vineyards.
