The Chateau Garreau estate is located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region on the sandy soils known as sables fauves, with a family history dating back to 1919. Spanning 27 hectares of vineyards, the property cultivates traditional grape varieties including Baco, Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc, and Colombard. Viticulture is conducted under sustainable agricultural practices, and the estate holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. For the aging of its Armagnacs, the winery utilizes a historic underground cellar alongside traditional armagnac stills. The estate also hosts an écomusée dedicated to the history and traditions of Armagnac.
