About the estate

The Domaine de Laballe estate is managed in the eighth generation by the Laudet family and has operated as winemakers and distillers in the Landes region since 1820. The winery farms two distinct locations, comprising Laballe in the heart of the Sables Fauves and the coastal vineyard site at Capbreton near the Atlantic Ocean. The grape variety portfolio features Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tannat, Syrah, Malbec, Colombard, Gros Manseng, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin, and Chardonnay. The wines and Armagnacs are crafted with a viticultural approach aimed at limiting inputs, with certain cuvées certified as organic agriculture. Production spans the complete process from the vineyard to the bottle and barrel aging entirely on-site.
