About the estate

The historic Château de Parnay looks back on a long history dating back to the Middle Ages, which was notably shaped by Antoine Cristal in 1887. Since December 2006, the property has been under the ownership of Monsieur Vincenot, who continues the estate's operations. The vineyard spans 35 hectares within the Saumur Champigny appellation, featuring clay-limestone soils characterized by the presence of tuffeau. The vines are cultivated organically with deep respect for the environment and surrounding ecosystem. In the traditional troglodyte cellars, the team crafts distinct wines, including the renowned Chenin Blanc from Clos d'Entre les Murs and expressive Cabernet Franc reds.
