About the estate
The Caveau de Roujan estate was formed in the summer of 2018 through the union of the cooperative wineries of Abeilhan, Caux, Pézenas, Pouzolles and Roujan in Languedoc-Roussillon. Around 150 winegrowers jointly cultivate 1600 hectares of vineyards located across the communes of Abeilhan, Pézenas, Roujan, Caux, Pouzolles and Margon. The vineyards benefit from a rich variety of soils including clay-limestone soils, hillsides and schist soils. A wide range of red, rosé and white grape varieties such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Chardonnay and Viognier are planted on these sites.
