About the estate
Located in Chardonne in the Vaud region, the Cave Jean-Paul Forestier estate is managed by Jean-Paul Forestier. Chasselas accounts for sixty percent of the production and is vinified in stainless steel vats. The single-varietal red wines made from Gamaret, Gamay d’Arcenant and Merlot are aged in oak barrels, while the Viognier is aged in acacia barrels. The red blend Le Portebout, consisting of Pinot Noir, old vine Gamay and Diolinoir, develops in traditional wooden casks in the historic wine cellar.
