About the estate
The family-run estate La Bacchanale is managed by the third generation and cultivates two hectares of vineyards. The plots are located in the municipality of Chardonne, producing wines under the Lavaux appellation with the Chardonne and Saint-Saphorin designations. Overlooking the lake, the vineyards benefit from exceptional sun exposure and orientation. The entire harvest is processed on-site using a traditional press dating back to 1890. The cultivated grape varieties include Chasselas, Chardonnay, Mousseux, Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gamaret, Garanoir and Diolinoir.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Chasselas and Chardonnay.
