About the estate

The Castello di Razzano estate was founded in Piedmont in 1927 by Ernesto Olearo and his wife Clementina Razzano, who built the first small cellar. From the 1940s and 1960s onwards, the business expanded significantly through the acquisition of additional properties such as the Tenuta Castello di Razzano and the Tenuta Campasso. In the 1980s, Augusto Olearo fundamentally shifted the company philosophy toward quality-oriented production and planted new vineyards. Today, the estate is family-run and, alongside its historic wine production, includes extra virgin olive oil and hospitality services in Alfiano Natta.

The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Barbera and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
