About the estate
The Casina di Cornia estate was established in 1979 in Castellina in Chianti in Tuscany and has been managed by Anselmo and Julien since 2011. The property covers a total area of 24 hectares, with 7.5 hectares dedicated to vineyards. Deep clay-limestone soils in vineyards situated at an average altitude of 250 meters with south to southwest exposures provide the basis for structured wines. The primary focus is placed on the Sangiovese grape variety, which is vinified for denominations including Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT. Farming is conducted organically with manual harvesting and natural cellar practices without selected yeasts.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Sangiovese.
