About the estate
The Cascina Lana estate has its roots in 1937, when Davide Baldizzone acquired the current winery and surrounding land. In the 1970s, Nino Baldizzone and his wife Graziana took over the management of the operation in Nizza Monferrato. Today, the family manages twenty-three hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese, and Moscato. Harvesting is done manually depending on the optimal ripeness of the grapes. In the cellar, the grapes are processed according to their variety, while traditional production methods such as the historic Cugnà are maintained.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon.
