About the estate
The Cantine Carel winery cultivates vineyards in the provinces of Asti and Cuneo as well as in Nizza, growing grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Barbera, and Moscato Bianco di Canelli. The vines are trained using the Guyot system. In the cellar, the grapes are processed depending on the wine style through gentle pressing, controlled fermentation in autoclaves using the Charmat method, or extended skin contact. Subsequent aging takes place in stainless steel tanks or wooden barrels, depending on the specific wine. The portfolio includes sparkling wines and red wines from the Barbera d'Asti DOCG and Nizza DOCG denominations.
