About the estate
The Cantinamena estate is a family-run winery located in Campoleone di Lanuvio within the Roman countryside, established in 2004 by Valeriano and Maria Rosa Mingotti. Spanning approximately 18 hectares, the vineyards are situated on the volcanic soils of the Castelli Romani and are farmed entirely organically. The grape varieties cultivated include local types such as Cesanese and Malvasia del Lazio alongside international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Vineyard management avoids synthetic pesticides and herbicides, relying instead on manual harvesting of the grapes. Vinification is carried out using natural methods without additives to produce red, white, and rosé wines.
