About the estate

Cantina Cardone is located in Colonna in the heart of the Castelli Romani and is run by Francesca and her husband Pierluigi. The estate cultivates five hectares of vineyards in the Frascati and Roma appellations, consistently focusing on organic farming and regenerative agriculture principles. The family roots date back to the early twentieth century before the winery was comprehensively modernized and restructured for quality wine production in the nineties. The vineyards are planted with varieties such as Malvasia del Lazio, Montepulciano, and Cesanese, yielding wines including Frascati, Lazio IGT, and Roma DOC. Distribution takes place through direct sales at the estate, at markets, and via local trade.
