About the estate
The Cantina Onofri estate was founded in 2000 by Carla and Lorenzo in Vallerano and operates as a family-run business, with their children Cristina and Ivano now also actively involved. The six hectares of vineyards are located at the foot of the Cimini Hills on volcanic soil rich in potassium. The grapes are processed in a tufa cellar, preferring traditional and unsophisticated processing methods. The aim of this small winery is to preserve the culture of the region and produce authentic goods.
The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Trebbiano and Sangiovese. The estate sells to retail.
