The Bodegas Adriá, S.L. winery is located in Villafranca del Bierzo within the Bierzo DO designation and focuses on viticulture with locally adapted grape varieties. The approximately forty-year-old vineyards feature clay and slate soils that impart minerality and depth to the wines. For wine production, harvesting is done manually in small boxes, utilizing old vines from a single vineyard plot. The winemaking process involves temperature-controlled fermentation and extended aging on fine lees with periodic bâtonnage. The white wines produced are defined by the exclusive use of the Godello grape variety.
