Xestal
The 2021 Xestal is faintly reductive and a bit blurry but seems to clean up with time in the glass. It’s a classical and traditional Mencía with good ripeness and 14.5% alcohol, and it’s generously oaked after it spent 10 months in barriques with manual bâtonnage weekly.
