About the estate
The Finca Montepedroso estate is located in the Spanish region of Rueda and belongs to the Martínez Bujanda family, which has a long-standing tradition. The winery was inaugurated in April 2012 and manages 25 hectares of vineyards situated at an altitude of 750 meters on a plateau. The vineyards are exclusively dedicated to the native Verdejo grape variety, which thrives on various alluvial soils as well as clay and silt. Mechanical night harvesting ensures that the grapes arrive fresh at the cellar, where the white wines are aged on the lees without the use of wood. Approximately 120,000 bottles are produced annually from the estate-owned vineyards.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Verdejo.
