About the estate
The Bodegas Godelia estate was founded in late 2009 by the García Rodríguez family and is located in Pieros within the Bierzo region. The property comprises around 50 hectares of vineyards featuring old vines rooted in soils of slate, pebbles, quartzite, and clay. The cultivated grape varieties include Mencía, Godello, and Doña Blanca. Viticulture is practiced sustainably without the use of herbicides, and both harvesting and grape selection are carried out entirely by hand.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Mencía and Godello.
