About the estate
The Frutos Villar Bodegas estate has been involved in viticulture and the wine trade since the early 20th century, establishing its first winery in Toro in 1920. Another winery was built in Cigales in 1960, followed by the acquisition of a facility in Ribera del Duero in 1988. Since 1990, the company has also marketed wines from the Rueda region. Today, the winery is represented across several recognized quality zones in the Castilla y León region and also farms its own vineyards.
