The Black sea wine producer based in Gurjaani, Kakheti, produces a dry red wine from the Saperavi variety. The wine is aged for ten months in a natural clay amphora on the seabed of the Black Sea within the territorial waters of Georgia near Kvariati at a depth of 25 meters. This location represents the first underwater wine cellar in Georgia. Through contact with the clay amphora, fourth phase water is formed within the wine, which imparts specific properties to the product.
