The Badagoni company was founded in 2006 by Giorgi Salakaia in Zemo Khodasheni within the historic Georgian wine region of Kakheti. The philosophy merges traditional Georgian grape varieties and millennia-old winemaking traditions with advanced technologies. For the aging process, the Badagoni winery utilizes stainless steel tanks alongside oak barrels of French, American, and Slovenian origins. Comprehensive quality control is maintained through an in-house high-tech laboratory and collaboration with the Italian research center Enosis Meraviglia. Today, the enterprise operates as a leading wine producer in Georgia with an international presence.
