About the estate

The Baden-Badener Weinhaus am Mauerberg was founded in 1922 and has since united the cohesion of winegrowers in the Baden region. Its members cultivate vineyards in renowned sites such as the Neuweierer Mauerberg and the Umweger Stich den Buben along the foothills of the Black Forest. Traditional grape varieties such as Riesling and Pinot Noir, alongside Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Traminer, thrive on deep primary rock and loess-loam soils. The grapes are harvested by hand to produce wines with a strong sense of origin and distinctive character. The tradition-conscious estate combines craftsmanship with modern methods.
