About the estate
The Azienda Agricola Giovanetto estate manages two hectares of vineyards in the historical terraced wine-growing region of Settimo Vittone in Piedmont. Founded in 2004, the winery continues a family tradition of viticulture on steep stone terraces dating back to Roman times. The core of the production is Nebbiolo picotener, complemented by traditional local grape varieties such as Neretto and Vernassa. Farming is conducted following integrated pest management rules with manual labor and significantly restricted yields. Vinification and aging take place in historical natural cellars, among other locations.
