About the estate
The Cellagrande winery originates from the Bagnod family, whose history in the Canavese farmhouses began in 1946. The estate is situated on a site rooted in an eleventh-century Benedictine monastery, which was restored to its original splendor. The company produces wines covering designations such as Canavese DOC, Carema DOC, and Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, alongside other agricultural products. A notable specialty of the estate is a wine aged in submerged amphorae in the waters of Lake Viverone.
