About the estate

The history of the Orsolani winery began at the end of the nineteenth century when Giovanni Orsolani and his wife Domenica returned to the Canavese region and opened the Locanda Aurora, where Giovanni started producing wine for guests. Today, the family is in its fourth generation and dedicated exclusively to the production of still and sparkling wines from estate-owned vineyards located in the classic production areas. The winery produces approximately 150,000 bottles annually, with ninety percent dedicated to the Erbaluce variety. The portfolio includes Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, Canavese DOC, and traditional method sparkling wines. Furthermore, the estate is a member of the Grandi Cru d'Italia Committee.
