About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Borgogno Serio, Boffa Federica e Bolla Emanuela Societa' Semplice estate located in Barolo, Piedmont, traces its origins back to the 19th century. Founded by Cavalier Francesco Borgogno, the family-run winery is now managed by the fifth generation. The estate covers three hectares of vineyards situated in the heart of the Cannubi cru. Vineyard management avoids herbicides in favor of copper and sulfur treatments. In the cellar, wines are aged traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks without the use of barriques.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Barbera. The estate sells to retail.
