About the estate

The Ernst Zimmerl estate is located in Hadres within the Weinviertel region and has been managed since 1999 by Ernst Zimmerl, who completed his studies at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and gained practical experience abroad. The foundation of the quality philosophy is intensive vineyard management, which preserves and promotes soil life through annual cover cropping between the rows. The winery places great emphasis on close-to-nature care and targeted yield reduction to produce high-quality grapes. The portfolio includes wines bearing the Weinviertel DAC designation, shaped by traditional craftsmanship and continuous development.
