About the estate

The Widum Baumann estate is a mountain farm in South Tyrol where grapes thrive at an altitude of 1,048 meters on the sunny slopes of the Salten plateau at Tschögglberg. Cultivation is conducted biodynamically in harmony with nature, the seasons, and the moon. In the cellar, the winery relies on traditional manufacturing processes and the traditional method of field blending. Spontaneous fermentation of the various grape varieties takes place in amphorae or large wooden barrels. The estate produces wines without additives that correspond to the Alto Adige DOC designation.
