About the estate

The H. Lentsch estate located in Bronzolo in South Tyrol traces its roots back to 1882, when Hartmann Lentsch began producing wine following the acquisition of a historic hotel. Today, the third generation of the family manages the approximately 20 hectares of vineyards with a strong emphasis on sustainable and nature-aligned viticulture. The vineyards are situated on a large alluvial cone featuring porous porphyry, which, together with natural ice holes, creates a unique microclimate. Grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Lagrein are cultivated on warm, sandy, and stony soils. The wines fall under the Alto Adige DOC denomination and are crafted in harmony with the region's natural conditions.
