About the estate
The Wolfer winery is located at the Ottenberg in German-speaking Switzerland and was founded in 1925. Martin Wolfer manages the estate in the fourth generation, cultivating a vineyard area of 10.4 hectares in the Bründlerberg, Waidli, and Bachtobel sites. The main grape variety is Pinot Noir, complemented by Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. The foundation for today's estate bottling operation was laid with the construction of the wine cellar in 1975.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau.
