About the estate
The Weingut Wildmonn estate is located in Girlan within the Trentino-Alto Adige region and operates under the Alto Adige DOC denomination. The vineyard for their Pinot Noir is situated at an altitude of 480 meters on a glacial drumlin consisting of morainic debris deposits on porphyry bedrock. The winery works in harmony with nature without the use of herbicides, enhancing grape quality through intensive manual labor. Maceration and fermentation take place in wooden fermentation vats, followed by maturation in barriques and large wooden casks. Finally, the Pinot Noir is bottled unfiltered and aged further before being released for consumption.
