About the estate

The Peter Klas winery and distillery is located in Osann-Monzel-Monzel along the Middle Moselle and is run as a winemaking family. The estate is led by trained oenologist Peter Klas, who follows his own path in winemaking. The vines grow in the steep slopes of the Moselle and are shaped by slate soils. The working method includes low yields, gentle grape processing, and slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. The majority of the wines are vinified dry, with a portfolio featuring grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, and Pinot Noir.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
