About the estate

The Weingut Steinberger is a family estate located in Wiesenbronn at the Steigerwald, where the entire family works closely together. The vineyards in the Geißberg and Wachhügel sites are cultivated in a natural way and completely without the use of herbicides and insecticides. In the cellar, the wines are traditionally refined following the example of the grandparents, with the complete portfolio having been converted to a vegan production method since 2015. Various grape varieties thrive on the humus-rich loam and Keuper soils, including the Franconian classic Silvaner. By omitting tartaric acid stabilizers and avoiding microplastics during production, individual wines with a distinct minerality are created.
