About the estate

The Weingut Hirschmann estate in Winkel in the Rheingau was purchased by Johann Hirschmann in 1860 and is currently managed as a family business in the fifth and sixth generation. The estate combines tradition with modern technology and environmentally friendly viticulture. The cultivated grape varieties comprise Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, which are particularly suited for cultivation in the Rheingau. All wines are exclusively estate-bottled, ensuring that every step from cultivation in the vineyards to expert vinification in the cellar remains in house. Christoph Hirschmann and his daughter Karoline jointly oversee the vinification and manage the operations of the estate.
