About the estate

The Weingut CRASS estate in Eltville am Rhein-Erbach looks back on a long-standing history dating back to 1627, which continues across generations to this day. Spanning 7 hectares of vineyards, the winery is managed by Matthias Craß and cultivates a diverse range of grape varieties, led by the classic Rheingau varieties Riesling and Pinot Noir. The portfolio also includes Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, early-ripening Pinot Noir, and Merlot. The production methods combine traditional craftsmanship with sustainable practices, which is highlighted by the Fair’n Green certification. In the cellar, the focus is on minimal intervention and gentle vinification to authentically reflect the character of the origin and the vineyards in the Rheingau region.
