Weinbau Scholl

About the estate

The family-run Weinbau Scholl estate is located in Johannisberg in the Rheingau region and is managed in the third generation. The business was founded in 2000 by Mathias Scholl to revive the estate's own winemaking after previously being affiliated with the Johannisberg winegrowers' cooperative. The grapes grow on vineyard sites such as Johannisberger Erntebringer and Oestricher Klosterberg. The portfolio includes classic Riesling, Pinot Noir as red and white-must wines, and Rotberger. Currently, the estate processes and vinifies around 40 hectolitres of wine.
