About the estate

The Weidinger estate has been managed in the third generation in Ziersdorf in the Weinviertel region and cultivates red and white wines on a vineyard area of twelve hectares. The managed single vineyards include Reingrube, End des Berges, Katzensprung am Köhlberg, Kronberg in Hollenstein, and Auf der Henne in Fahndorf. Alongside the main grape variety Grüner Veltliner, the portfolio also features Riesling, Zweigelt, and Rote Veltliner as a specialty. The winery focuses on a careful approach to nature, strict yield reduction, and intergenerational know-how. The fully ripe grapes are handled gently to bring the character of the region into the bottle.
