About the estate

The Vipava 1894 winery cultivates vineyards in the Vipavska dolina and maintains roots dating back to the year 1894. Hand-harvested grapes from selected sites form the basis for the production of indigenous varieties such as Zelen and Pinela alongside international wine grapes. The portfolio ranges from fresh white and red wines to macerated wines from terraced vineyards with extended oak barrel maturation, sparkling wines, and sweet wine produced from dried grapes. Winemaking techniques combine regional varietal aromas with specialized methods to yield structured and elegant wine styles.
