About the estate
The Vina Benčina winery is located in the village of Lože within the upper Vipavska dolina. Dušan Benčina took over the farm as a youth and has since dedicated himself to viticulture with the aim of producing high-quality wines. The vineyards are cultivated with various grape varieties, including Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rebula, Pinela, Laški rizling, Modri pino, and Cabernet. The estate offers wine tastings in its cellar as well as guided walks through the surrounding vineyards.
