Tenuta Stella

About the estate

The Tenuta Stella estate is located in Dolegna del Collio within the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and was founded by Sergio Stevanato, who turned his passion for the wines of Collio into reality. The winery is managed by agricultural technologist Alberto Faggiani and oenologist Erika Barbieri. The vineyards are planted on marl and sandstone soils, trained in the Guyot system, and situated with southwest and east exposures. The grape portfolio features varieties such as Tocai Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Merlot. Vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and wooden casks, with the Friulano undergoing extended aging on the lees.
