About the estate
The Ferruccio Sgubin winery was founded in 1960 in Dolegna del Collio within the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The estate farms a small handful of hectares of vineyards situated on precious ponca soils characterized by sandstone marl, which imparts a distinctive salinity to the wines. Today, the traditional family-run estate is managed across generations with a strong commitment to organic farming, ecosystem protection, and biodiversity. The portfolio features structured red wines and expressive white wines, including notable bottlings of Sauvignon and Pinot Bianco under the Collio DOC denomination.
The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
