About the estate

The TENUTA LANGASCO Az. Vitiv. di Sacco Claudio estate is situated in the heart of Piedmont in Madonna di Como on the hills of Alba, with a history rooted in generations of viticulture. Since 1979, the family has managed the 25 hectares of vineyards, which are located in a single plot surrounding the property with south and southwest exposures. The mixed soils consisting of clay, calcareous marl, and sand, together with the ideal microclimate, provide optimal conditions for grape maturation. In the vineyard, the winery follows an integrated pest management protocol and has been certified under the SQNPI system since the 2023 harvest. Vinification combines advanced technologies such as temperature control, soft pressing for white grapes, and frequent pump-overs for red grapes.
