About the estate

Founded in 2000, the Tenuta Casadei estate is located in Suvereto within Upper Maremma, just a short distance from the coast. The vineyards are situated in a landscape shaped by a Mediterranean climate, featuring diverse soils ranging from iron-rich clay to sandy alluvial terrain. Cultivation follows the BioIntegrale method, which focuses on sustainability, biodiversity, and the avoidance of invasive agricultural techniques. The vineyard areas are planted with classic and international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Syrah, Moscato, and Ansonica. Vinification takes place in a partially underground cellar designed for natural temperature control, utilizing terracotta amphorae for maturation.
