About the estate

The Weingärtnerei Steurer is a family estate located in Grafenegg in the Kamptal region, producing wines within the Kamptal DAC, Traisental DAC, and Wagram DAC denominations. Spanning approximately five hectares of vineyards, the producers work closely with nature following the criteria of AMA and Nachhaltig Austria. Vineyard management relies on targeted cover crop planting without the use of insecticides or herbicides, culminating in selective hand-harvesting across multiple passes. In the cellar, after gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wines mature either in stainless steel tanks or traditional oak barrels. Distribution includes direct cellar door sales and shipping.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Export markets include Germany.
